Somalia bought new Embassy Building in Washington from Columbia

Somalia’s President Mogamed Abdullahi Farmajo cuts ribbon on Friday the new Embassy building in Washington USA.

Somalia bought the building from Columbia amounting $4.3Million Dollars, as Finance Minister confirmed it.

Minister Abdirahman Du’ale Beyle said “we cut this money from our 2019 Budget and bought this new Embassy building.”

This Embassy is in downtown and locates Wyoming Avenue, where World Embassies locate and it is strategic place.

Recently US President Donald Trump received credentials from Somalia’s new Ambassador to USA Ali Sharif  Ahmed, who replaced current Foreign Minister Ahmed Isse Awad.
